Scalamandre

I love, love Scalamandre's Zebra print. And judging from how many interior design bloggers out there feature this very wallpaper, I'm not the only one. Designed by Scalamandre in the 1940s specifically for the legendary Gino's restaurant in Manhattan, this fanciful wallpaper has seen quite a revival as of late.

It made an appearance in my favorite Wes Anderson film, The Royal Tenenbaums, in Margot Tenenbaum's childhood bedroom. More recently, Lenox has created a Scalamandre line of fine china, barware, and home decor. Scalamandre also produces umbrellas, scarves, and pillows featuring the wildly popular print.

I personally love the Masai Red, but you can see what varied results can be achieved through Scalamandre's other color options - all with completely gorgeous results!
